Church dedicated to Saint Catherine, with simple but evocative neoclassical architecture, at the start of the "Via della Pietra" cycle path (on this stretch also known as "Via delle Acacie" [no, Carlotta is not there]). Upstream, an access to the Castle park that gives its name to Castellar, with a beautiful baroque exposed brick portal. Opposite the church, a shaded park, picnic area, and children's playground (as well as sports facilities). You can easily reach it via the cycle path created along the Bronda stream, closing old asphalted rural roads to traffic. A beautiful destination for a family outing.

A starting point for wonderful one- or multi-day hikes, perfect year-round for families with children. In spring, summer, and perhaps especially in autumn, you can enjoy exciting trails through the woods. In winter, you can enjoy beautiful snowshoe hikes, starting from the lower refuge up to the higher one, where there are ski slopes.

A beautiful section that passes Staffarda Abbey. The first stretch up to the abbey is a dirt road, while the second is a well-beaten gravel road, perfect for gravel bikes.

It is already mentioned in the Statutes, which are from 1508. In fact, speaking of the boundaries of the properties at n.255, we read: "incipiendo a via Sancti Euxobii" (starting from the road to S.Eusebio). When that area served as a pasture, the monks will have built that Chapel, perhaps in wood, both as a place of prayer and worship, but it could also serve as a warehouse for goods. The structure of the Chapel, as it has come down to us, is very simple and poor. A small room, without a portico. The architecture of the same, despite its simplicity, shows signs of various alterations. Four pillars are clearly visible from the outside. They were built to support it, or they were its shape or
