The Bruno Weber Park in Dietikon is a very special place where art, architecture, and nature merge into a unique Gesamtkunstwerk. Numerous imaginative sculptures and structures by the Swiss artist Bruno Weber (1931–2011) can be discovered on the premises. Many of the artworks are made of concrete and some are even walkable. Particularly impressive are, among others, the giant winged dog, the snake bridge, colorful mosaics, and the water garden hall. The park is located on the slope above Dietikon and offers beautiful views of the Limmattal valley at the same time. A visit is particularly interesting for families, as there is a lot to discover and the artworks can be experienced in a completely different way. However, the walkable sculptures may only be climbed at your own risk. Opening hours: 🌸 Summer season (March 1 – October 31): Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, 11 am–6 pm ❄️ Winter season (November 1 – February 28): Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, 11 am–5 pm Admission: 👩 Adults (17–64 years): CHF 15.– 👧 Children (4–16 years): CHF 5.– 👶 Children under 4 years: free 👨👩👧👦 Family (parents + min. 2 children): CHF 35.– Admission includes an audio guide and is valid for the whole day. The park also has a park kiosk with snacks, drinks, and ice cream, as well as toilets. 📍 Bruno Weber Park, Zur Weinrebe 3, 8953 Dietikon A truly extraordinary park that should be seen once – even if it is smaller than one might expect.

The Franzosenweiher, idyllically located in the forest between Dietikon and Spreitenbach, is a beautiful spot for a short break. Numerous benches are scattered around the pond, where you can linger comfortably and enjoy the peaceful nature. The small pond is situated in a natural area and is today part of a nature reserve. It offers an important habitat for amphibians, among other creatures. The name of the pond also has an interesting history: Originally, it was created by monks from the Wettingen monastery for fish farming and was therefore called Chlosterweiher. In 1799, French soldiers are said to have emptied the pond to catch the fish living in it – hence the current name Franzosenweiher.

The pond is located slightly above Bremgarten (AG), in the forest area towards Eggenwil. A small pond that was once artificially created and today offers a habitat as a biotope for amphibians and waterfowl. There is a bench for short breaks or simply to observe nature. Beautiful hiking and cycling paths lead to and from the pond.
