Leaving aside the chaos of the center, it is a pleasant city, rich in history and ideas for trekking and/or cycling.

Road along which the Giro d'Italia traveled when it arrived at Lake Serrú. The beginning is closed to car traffic by a barrier, but it can be easily overcome by bicycle. From here to Ceserole Reale there is a very hard stretch with continuous horseshoe curves, some small galleries, a beautiful torrent of water and a road with asphalt in perfect condition.

The Ceserole Reale lake is spectacular and a suitable place to have a drink and enjoy the high mountain landscape. The 3 times I have visited the Nivolet, I have stopped at a bar in Ceserole to enjoy the moment.

After crossing the Ceresole Reale lake and enjoying a rest area, the second hard section of the Colle del Nivolet begins. It is 7 km with an average of 9% and a valley that opens up, changing the vegetation with the meadows and rocks of the high mountains.
