This beautiful church features three checkerboard stones: a diamond-shaped stone at the south portal on the right side of the nave, a checkerboard stone at the south portal on the left side of the nave, and a checkerboard stone at the southeast corner of the chancel. However, you can only see these three stones from the adjacent private property. Therefore, you must obtain permission from the landowner beforehand. But there is a small consolation: On the west side (by the street, right corner towards the wall) there is a cup-marked stone framed by ivy.

The Friedersdorf village church is a medieval fieldstone building from the 13th century, which was partially destroyed during the Thirty Years' War. In 1653, Colonel von Görtzke bought the Friedersdorf estate and repaired the church.
