11th-century medieval church located inside the Montafia cemetery. You have to go there specifically, but it's worth the visit - and the effort: to get to the cemetery there's a rather steep ramp. The interior is bare of furnishings, but precisely for this reason it shows its entire naked structure, including the roof trusses. Note that access is through the side door, while the front door is blocked; a partition separates the visitable part from a room between the partition itself and the front door, probably a service room open only to staff.

Very simple church, of general neoclassical style. The small square in front recalls an episode from the life of Don Bosco - when, as a boy, he won the greasy pole climbing competition right in Montafia, taking away the best prizes. A bust of Don Bosco, a reproduction of the greasy pole, and an explanatory poster reconstruct the episode.

The Basilica is located on the hill overlooking the valley. Don Bosco's house is also definitely worth a visit

It is the house where San Domenico Savio lived after the family moved from San Giovanni. The house is now used as a museum of the Saint. The statue of San Domenico Savio inside is also interesting. For those who are passionate, or even just curious, about the history of Don Bosco and San Domenico Savio, a destination not to be missed.
