This church is small, with one nave, but large in rich content. Among the preserved treasures, the majolica brick floor of the 18th century, attributed to Nicolò Sarzana: an exhibition of vaults, emblems, angels, garlands, enclosing a sailing ship among the waves. Founded in 1615 by the Benedictine nuns and a convent for some time, it preserves a jewel of rare and spectacular beauty, and so much power in the wooden tribune and in the main altar covered with pure gold.

Nice route, I didn't follow the itinerary suggested by the App to the letter, opting for a variant that passes through the Acqua Grande trough. I do not recommend the variant along the lake suggested by the App; steep climb and road interrupted by two barbed wire barriers which create some problems especially for those who are alone. For the rest, the dirt road that runs along the lake is well maintained and enjoyable. Tour to recommend.
