Beautiful views of the valley and the surrounding mountains. Little traffic but with frequent damage to the road surface, so be careful when descending

‘Albergo dei Poveri’ (?): Not to be confused with the palace of almost the same name in Palermo. I couldn't find much about this one, but maybe you know more? A spectacular view over Palermo from this point

A fountain made of marble and stone, built in 1768, with figures by the Sicilian sculptor Ignazio Marabitti. Unfortunately somewhat neglected.

The climb from Altavilla Milicia towards Baucina is beautiful. Unfortunately, a puncture slowed down the schedule a bit. Everything was solved thanks to the magic spray which I highly recommend. I had never used it but it turned out to be very simple to use. Tour concluded without further problems. Magnificent weather. Tour to recommend to everyone.

"Baarìa" in the local dialect, nicknamed "City of Villas" due to the enormous quantity of Baroque style residences, Bagheria has over 50,000 inhabitants and a well-known seaside hamlet, Aspra. Of particular interest is the Guttuso Museum, in which there are many works by the artist Renato Guttuso, who was born here in 1911. Many films by another son of the city, Giuseppe Tornatore, were shot here: the best known is "Nuovo Cinema Paradise".
