A bus stop... unfortunately, it has nothing to do with the former monastery.

The place is called Kloster Allendorf, where the monastery used to stand on the mountain, today still a monastery ruin, rebuilt as a very successful monastery ruin with a restaurant and a wonderful panoramic view of the Thuringian Forest with a view of the Inselsberg at 916 m. (fantastic)👍👏🙏

We now descend at a brisk pace; the inn at the entrance to the village has probably been closed for some time. We're delighted to find the stamp box. As we take the last few steps down the mountain, we look at a beautiful rock formation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cSVknofBek
