A truly fantastic mountain bike touring destination with various downhill options. For the approach/ascent, I recommend turning right halfway between the Furkelhütte and the Stilfser Alm (approximately at the level of the Tradakopf). There are still some carrying sections, but you'll save about 200 meters of elevation gain compared to the Stilfser Alm, and the path is less steep.

The lively village stretches from Spondinig (900 m) to the Lichtenberger Höfe (1,500 m) and borders the Stelvio National Park. The idyllic districts of Agums and Lichtenberg lead up to the picturesque Lichtenberger Alm and offer breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. Ancient cultural treasures such as the Romanesque St. John's Church with medieval frescoes, the Gothic pilgrimage church of St. George in Agums, and the imposing Lichtenberg Castle ruins give Prato its unique charm.
