The Sasso Piatto Refuge (Plattkofelhütte) stands at 2,300 m above sea level, in the Giogo di Fassa area, the highest point of the Alpe di Siusi as well as the border between the municipalities of Castelrotto and Campitello, between the provinces of Bolzano and that of Trento.
