The scattered hotel with restaurant is located in the medieval village of Albe in the archaeological area of Alba Fucens. The village was a fiefdom of the Orsini family (14th century) who built the castle in a dominant position over Lake Fucino. The manor remained intact until the Marsica earthquake of 1915, when it was seriously damaged and abandoned together with the town. Albe, rebuilt further down the slopes of the hill, has come back to life with the creation of various activities and an access road to the ruins of the castle and the medieval village. The hotel has 12 rooms created thanks to the restoration of some homes. The restaurant, also within the village, includes two rooms for daily use and another three dedicated to events and ceremonies. The cuisine is dedicated to local products. Guests will have the opportunity to book guided tours of archaeological sites, medium and high mountain excursions, horseback riding or cycling, ski passes for the Ovindoli Monte Magnola ski resorts. It is also the ideal point to recharge your e-Bike with DINA and earn DINAclub points. Find out how at dinaclub.repower.com

This road was baptized via del Miliario due to the discovery of a milestone which made it possible to recognize in this road axis an urban deviation of the ancient via Valeria, which entered from Porta Massima. Among the inscriptions of the military cippus there is engraved: 68th mile [from Rome]

The Valico del Monte Salviano in Avezzano (AQ) is located in the heart of the Guided Nature Reserve of the homonymous mountain at 902 m.s.l.m. Here it is possible to admire the Teatro della Germination, a sculpture made by the master sculptor Pietro Cascella and behind there is the entrance to the Via Dei Marsi, a 60 km equipped naturalistic path that connects the Salviano Reserve with the Abruzzo Lazio National Park and Molise in Pescasseroli (AQ), a fundamental naturalistic path as an ecological corridor between the two Parks, allowing the respective fauna to migrate from one reserve to another and thus increase the degree of fauna biodiversity of the two places. The nature trail was created thanks to the commitment in the field of the Social and Sports Promotion Association ERCI Team Onlus Il Salviano, which managed this Reserve until 2011 and in which I was part as a Technical Collaborator from 2005 to July 2017 covering the role of Project Manager "Knowing Nature through Sport" to develop outdoor sports within this protected area. https://abruzzoturismo.it/it/riserva-naturale-monte-salviano-avezzano-aq http://www.erciteam.it/it/ http://www.erciteam.it/it/la-via-dei-marsi-intro https://www.academia.edu/18593575/LA_VIA_DEI_MARSI https://www.academia.edu/18587107/LA_VIA_DEI_MARSI_-_Relazione
