Chilled drinks, snacks, and souvenirs are sold right on the crater rim. There are a few places to sit, some of which are even shaded. I think the prices are very fair, considering the chilled drinks and the transportation up there. A glass of water costs €1.50, a glass of wine €2, and a cold beer €4.

Be extremely careful as the trails are not maintained. I was hiking around Vesuvio this july 2025 and it was quite an adventure borderline dangereous.
