The dam itself is not crazy but it is a good starting point for walks in the surroundings, and in particular the one that leads to the very close Reinhardstein castle.

Great cycle path, but from Korneliemünster, towards Aachen, it gets busy. The section from the starting point to Walheim is unfortunately not easy to ride. The Vennbahn cycle path is not in very good condition in this area. After Walheim the surface is smooth, from here on it is really fun to ride. In Raeren there is a good place to stop for a refreshment with delicious cake.
