A service station with an air pump and tools on the bike path is great. The highlight, however, was that water bottles were also available.

I happened upon an e-bike tour by chance. Actually just wanted to eat something, drink two beers, and charge the battery. I liked it so much that I stayed for 1 night. Very tasty Slovak cuisine at very reasonable prices. Clean rooms. Great location and views of mountains, trees, sheep, etc. Tip: Book directly on site, is € 8 cheaper than booking.com.

It's a curious case of Komjatná and Malatiná villages. Both lay in basins above deep and narrow valleys, with rivers cutting their ways through the ridge, turning the range into separate rocky islands. Both lying north of the same ridge, they belong to different regions - Komjatná to Liptov, Malatiná to Orava. Both villages end where the basin narrow turn into a kind of a canyon - Komjatnianská and Sestrčská valleys respectively; both very pleasant, riding surrounded by pure nature.
