I think the tour will be very nice from Mölln towards Lübeck.

The Elbe-Lübeck Canal is worth a trip in itself. I recommend taking a trip from Neu Lankau or Berkenthin to Lübeck.

Lake Ziegelsee in Mölln is a true natural paradise with a maritime flair – a place that offers both peace and activity. With an area of approximately 36 hectares and a depth of up to 6.4 meters, the lake is nestled in the Herzogtum Lauenburg district and is crossed by the Elbe-Lübeck Canal. This makes it not only scenically attractive but also attractive for water sports enthusiasts: whether stand-up paddleboarding, motorboating, or simply a leisurely stroll along the shore – everyone will find their rhythm here. Particularly charming are the boat dock and the proximity to Mölln's historic old town, which gives the lake an almost Mediterranean atmosphere. Lake Ziegelsee is also a popular spot for anglers, and even dogs will find their fill at the dog bathing area. In short: Lake Ziegelsee is more than just a body of water – it is a lively meeting place for nature lovers, connoisseurs, and anyone who wants to escape everyday life for a moment. A lake with soul and many perspectives. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ziegelsee_(M%C3%B6lln)

The mill ditch was historically created to supply water to the Mölln town mill. It is a diversion of the Pinnau River, which originally flowed directly into the Hegesee. The town mill was first documented in the 13th century and was of great economic importance to the town, particularly for the brewery. The mill ditch is part of the Mölln Lake District and connects the Schmalsee with the Schulsee. The mill ditch and the associated town mill are now protected as cultural monuments. The mill itself was decommissioned in 1958 and now serves as a residential and commercial building. It borders the northern part of the listed Mölln spa gardens. Along the mill ditch, there is a dog bathing area, which is listed as a tourist attraction on the Mölln Tourist Office website. The area surrounding the Mühlengraben is ideal for strolls and is often included in city tours that also include other sights such as the Eulenspiegel Fountain, St. Nicolai Church, and the spa gardens. In summary, the Mühlengraben is not only a scenic feature in Mölln, but is also closely linked to the town's economic and cultural history.

The view of Mölln from the Elbe-Lübeck Canal isn't particularly impressive, as the canal doesn't run directly through Mölln's town center. Nevertheless, it's a nice place to take a short break at the lake's edge and enjoy the view of the lake and the towers of Mölln's old town in the background.

February 9, 2025, Kirche Nusse

The first reliable documented mention of Nusse was in 1194 in a contract between the Ratzeburg bishop and the cathedral chapter. This makes Nusse one of the oldest parishes in the Duchy of Lauenburg district. The original church in Nusse was built around 1250. The first documented mention of the Behlendorf parish, however, only appeared in the Ratzeburg bishop's tax of 1319. The current church replaces the original building, which was demolished in 1837 after a vault collapsed. The new building was built in 1838/39 using the old foundation walls. A three-aisled hall made of fieldstone and brick was created with a raised central nave and a recessed polygonal choir. As a result of the flat angle of inclination of the side roofs, moisture damage occurred to the masonry, so that reconstruction was necessary. In 1914/15, a uniformly high roof was built that arched over all three naves and a mighty tower was built on the west side, which was drawn into the nave. The interior furnishings are essentially from the time when the church was built. The late classicist pulpit altar, which, like the organ, was made by Theodor Vogt from Lübeck, is noteworthy. The classicist vase-shaped baptismal font was also created by C. A: Schönemann in 1839 especially for the new church. It replaced a baptismal font from the 13th century, which was still there but was badly damaged. A wooden crucifix (15th century) and two paintings (Annunciation, 1st half of the 16th century; Last Supper, 17th century) were taken from the previous church. Also worth mentioning is the picture of Pastor Andreas Sartori from 1898. https://www.kirche-ll.de/gemeinden/lauenburg/nusse-behlendorf/gemeindeleben/geschichte.html
