Cycling on the North Sea you either have to love it or have this fetish for it! I still remember my youth! Only once did we take the mountain bikes, exactly once & never again! Even on the smallest chainring, you feel like you're not moving an inch forward with a headwind! We used to ride 10,000 km a year on our mountain bikes, I'd say we were pretty fit.. But on the North Sea, you feel like an absolute beginner 🤮🤮🤮

The Imperial Post Office still dominates the cityscape today and is a testament to the island's history. It was inaugurated in 1882 on Poststraße.

Take-offs and landings can also be observed very well from the Wadden Sea side.

When planning your route, always take the wind direction into account. If you ride against the wind on the Polderweg, you will hardly be able to move. In addition, the narrow path does not allow you to make any detours if a gust comes. If the wind is coming from the southwest, it is better to take the route inland over the white dune.
