Unfortunately, you are not welcome here with a bicycle / mountain bike at all 😡 The paths are in very good condition and wide enough for considerate bikers and hikers. The castle sits enthroned on a large rock block and can only be visited inside via planned guided tours. The outdoor area is freely accessible with information and, above all, views over the surroundings all the way to the Alps 😀

The parish church of St. Thomas in Blasenstein (Pfarrkirche St. Thomas am Blasenstein) is an important religious building and pilgrimage site located in the municipality of Sankt Thomas am Blasenstein, in the region of Upper Austria. The church is internationally famous for two main reasons: the incredible phenomenon of its natural mummy and the presence of ancient pagan cult sites in the immediate vicinity.

The stone on the west side of Luckn is quite smooth, many have already scrambled over it 😉 A look into the beautiful bright church is also worthwhile.

A cloister above the church leads into the crypt of St. Thomas am Blasenstein. Since 1800 (first mentioned in writing in 1830), a mummy has been located there, known to many as the "luft'gselchter Pfarrer" (air-smoked pastor).
