On the Bayreuther Hütte, however, I was deeply disappointed. I had already booked a 4-bed room in January, so in good time. When we arrived late in the afternoon, we were sent to a 6-bed room. When I addressed the hut landlord about it, the response was only, I only have a 4-bed room. Long story short, this hut is taboo for us. The hike to Pertisau was long, but there were very beautiful paths and trails. However, the bus from Maurach to Pertisau only ran hourly.

The chapel was built in 1727 and its interior is decorated with stucco decoration and vault paintings. Next to the chapel there is a large summit cross.

The alpine pasture is not open to the public, but you have a great view over the Inn Valley and the surrounding mountains.
