Nice, but Hundertwasser's originals are a whole different story. This house can't compete.

The historic half-timbered house "Ecklädele" was built in 1581 using a mortise and tenon construction. This construction method required less wood than the Alemannic half-timbering and was also considered safer, especially with regard to fire hazards. The house was owned by various master craftsmen for a long time, with shoemakers in particular said to have practiced their trade here. The life-size bronze statue of Empress Maria Theresa, with a cubic stone base, is a copy of an important Baroque work by Franz Xaver Messerschmidt (1736–1783). The work commemorates Saulgau's more than 500 years of Upper Austrian history, when the town belonged to Austria from 1299 to 1806. Source: Wikipedia

A group of men, consisting of four bronze figures, gathers around him. "Three who talk at you," is how the artist Ernst-Reinhart Böhling describes his 1986 work. It's easy to see that the truth doesn't always come out. Hence the name Luege (Lies) Fountain. Source: https://de-academic.com/dic.nsf/dewiki/481036
