The guild gate in Kostrzyn was built thanks to the efforts of the Kostrzyn craftsmen and handed over to the city during the Kurdesz Kasztelański in 1980. In 1477, there were seven guilds in the city, which also served as church brotherhoods. These were the shoemakers', butchers', tailors', furriers', potters', linen guilds and millers' (malt makers') guilds. Today, the emblems of the former brotherhoods and guilds are visible on the Guild Gate. (https://historianamapie.wixsite.com/kostrzyn)
