Very interesting to look at and of absolute historical value. However, the entrance is very inconspicuous.

Today we were back at Patiseria Szelców in Lesko. For an early afternoon on a Saturday during peak season, it was fantastic – no lines, and few people inside. I sat down near the pastry display and counted 37 different varieties, not counting the adjacent displays of cakes, doughnuts, tortes, cocktails, and desserts. For a patisserie in southern Podkarpacie, the selection is staggering! The selection of scooped ice cream is much more limited, with only six flavors, but delicious and at 6 złoty per scoop, cheaper than many places in the region. Friendly service, and you can pay by card. Anyone who doesn't like waiting in line at "Słodki Domek" Szelców on the outskirts of Lesko, where the saleswomen can barely keep up with the crowd of sweet tooths, should definitely check it out. 😀 WW

Patiseria (new word to me) according to Wikipedia is a confectionery, a confectionery shop combined with a confectionery factory. Patiseria Szelców in Lesko opened 3 weeks ago. You can enter it from two sides - from the market and from the courtyard. Open: Mon-Fri 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Saturdays 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Sundays 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Compared to "Słodki Domek Szelców" on the exit road towards Sanok, there are very few people here and sales take place without a queue. The reason may be the lack of parking spaces in the center of Lesko. The saleswoman indirectly confirmed this, saying that the customers are mainly locals. WW

Tall, old linden trees with thick trunks grow to the left of the oak - a natural monument at ul. Krasicki. Looking closely at the leaves and flowers, you can see that they belong to different varieties of their species. As the name suggests, linden trees should bloom in July, but thanks to climate change you can enjoy the scent of their flowers already in the first half of June. WW

The oak grows on the edge of the Castle Park in Lesko, at the peripheral Krasickich Street. It is perfectly visible and accessible because it is not covered by other trees on this side. There are parking spaces for cars nearby. WW

With great surprise, I read the information from the County Office in Lesko, placed on the entrance gate to the castle, that from January 9, 2023, this facility is unavailable. The city's main tourist attraction is unavailable?! I don't understand.
