A stop on the "Memories of Tragic History" route. There is a parking lot right next door. It is a cemetery where soldiers who died in 1939, victims of Nazi crimes of 1940-1944 and Home Army soldiers are buried.

Nearly 400 meters long, 12 meters high and with huge walls, the thickness of which in some places exceeds 3 meters. The railway shelter in Stępin cannot be overlooked, especially since there are other, smaller military buildings nearby. A shelter for Hitler On the border of the villages of Stępiny and Cieszyny (around Frysztak) there is an unusual object. It was there, in August 1941, that the leader of the Third Reich, Adolf Hitler, and the Italian dictator Benito Mussolini met. What they talked about remains shrouded in mystery to this day. It is only known that they were completely safe in the ground shelter tunnel. Source and more: https://podkarpackie.eu/turystyka/shelter-railway-w-stepinie/

A statue of Christ the King of the Universe was erected in Jasło in Podkarpacie. It was inspired by the famous figures of Jesus from Rio de Janeiro (38 m.) and Świebodzin (36 m.). However, it was made on a much smaller scale. Together with the column, it is only 11.5 meters high, but it was placed on a hill. From here it overlooks the entire city. A group of 19 craftsmen from Jasło established a social committee, which later, as an association, began efforts to build a monument. He organized a fundraiser for this purpose. The city helped, which agreed to hand over an 8-are plot on a hill at ul. To the Valley. The statue itself, cast in bronze, is 3.5 meters high. She was placed on an 8-meter column. Jesus is directed towards Jasło. The area around the monument still needs to be developed. (...) https://www.fakt.pl/wydarzenia/polska/rzeszow/monument-christ-krola-uniswiata-w-jasle/wcm03he

The facility was erected on the basis of a project prepared free of charge by a local architect, Andrzej Gawlewicz. The concrete column with the figure of Christ the King in the crown placed on it rises to a height of about three hundred meters above sea level. The entire composition is twelve meters and fifty centimeters high. The silhouette of Christ the King, which is facing the city, reflects the authentic image of Jesus that was photographed by the Italian stigmatist - Elia's brother in 2013. According to the information provided to us, the value of the investment has been planned at PLN 300,000. It should be emphasized that it was fully covered from the funds accumulated on the Association's account. Despite the negative information often appearing in the public opinion, not a single zloty from public funds was spent for this purpose.
