The founder of this attraction got a bit carried away🤣 I have already proposed a name change - it will probably take a while. The correct name and location are: Church of St. Matthias the Apostle in Andrychów It is the most important sacral monument in the city, located in the very center. Beginnings (14th c.): The first mentions of the parish date back to 1325–1346. In the tithe records from 1344, payments for the "construction of the church" were mentioned. Original buildings: In the 16th century, there was a wooden church here, which was then a branch of the parish in Wieprz. Current temple (17th–18th c.): In 1646, on the initiative of Elżbieta of Przytycka Zebrzydowska, the construction of a brick church began. In 1721, the church was consecrated after a thorough Baroque renovation. Between 1722 and 1726, the Brotherhood of the Rosary of the Sweetest Name of Jesus was founded at the church. Expansion (19th–20th c.): The temple was enlarged with chapels (1725) and modernized in 1838 and 1924–1929.

The classicist, single-story, brick manor house is basemented and covered by low saddle roofs. Currently, it has a horseshoe plan. The central part is adorned with a portico with four Doric columns and a triangular pediment containing the coats of arms: "Jastrzębiec" of the Bobrowskis and "Poraj" of the Męciński family, from which Stefan Bobrowski's wife came. At the rear, it has a prominent avant-corps. Large, semi-circularly closed or rectangular windows. From the southwest, there is a corner turret.

St. Florian of Lauriacum - a soldier and official of the Roman emperor, a martyr. According to tradition, he was a Roman officer who stood up in defense of persecuted Christians. For this, he was thrown into the river Aniza with a stone around his neck. He is the patron saint of firefighters, but also of Upper Austria, Bologna, Linz, Krakow, the Archdiocese of Katowice, and professions associated with fire: firefighters, smelters, chimney sweeps, potters, bakers, brewers, coopers, blacksmiths. He is invoked in case of danger from fire and water. The cult of St. Florian only spread in the 15th century; before that, the saints protecting against fire were St. Lawrence and St. Agatha. In iconography, he is most often depicted in the attire of a legionary, with a vessel of water or extinguishing a fire. He is commemorated on May 4.
