Finally managed to see it on a cycling trip. I've been driving through Olkusz a 100 times and never been in the centre, which is just a few hudred meters away.

The focal point of Olkusz is the Old Market Square, with its interesting tenement houses, mostly from the 19th century, standing on the foundations of older structures. Beneath one of them (Market Square 4) lie the cellars of the former mint of King Sigismund Augustus from 1579. Over the past few years, the Olkusz Market Square and surrounding streets have undergone a thorough revitalization (2010-2013). The tenement houses were renovated, the paving was replaced, and new small-scale architectural elements were added. Stylized lighting has also been installed around the Market Square and the basilica. All this makes the Market Square in Olkusz a delight for residents and tourists alike. It was laid out in 1299, when the city was founded. Six streets branch off it (Sławkowska, Floriańska, Augustiańska, Krakowska, Żuradzka, and Basztowa). It is square-shaped, extended eastward after the tenement houses were relocated in the 19th century (this section is now occupied by a parking lot). https://www.polskieszlaki.pl/rynek-w-olkuszu.htm https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rynek_w_Olkuszu https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4r1BuHxhgsw
