The Kowalska Tower in Złotoryja is an impressive, medieval defensive tower from the 14th century, the only preserved element of the old city walls. It is 22.5 meters high, 9.5 meters in diameter, and its walls are 2.7 meters thick at the base. In the past, it protected the Upper Gate and served as a prison; today it is open to visitors as a viewing point. 45 stone steps lead to the top, from where there is a panoramic view of Złotoryja and the surrounding area.

An interesting place, the Kaczawa River washed away the disused tracks. Until recently, the tracks hung above the ground, but a falling tree destroyed this "creation". In any case, the place is worth seeing. Nearby are three disused railway bridges, a dozen or so meters apart.
