One of my favorite towns in Silesia, an extremely picturesque palace with a park and a beautiful market square.

This small neoclassical tea pavilion is located on an island amid the Pszczynka River within the castle park in Pszczyna, built in the third quarter of the 19th century during a renewed interest in Oriental culture. A beautiful place to drink tea or eat something sweet 🍰

A neo-Renaissance building located on the northern side of the market square, adjacent to the Evangelical-Augsburg church, and has served as the seat of municipal authorities for three centuries. Originally built around 1658 and purchased by the city in 1716, the building survived major fires in 1679 and 1748, underwent several expansions including the addition of a clock tower in 1738, and received its current neo-Renaissance appearance during a major reconstruction in 1931.

This historic building housed the "Pod jodłowym jeleniem" (Under the Fir Deer) inn from 1852 to 1894, which was later demolished and replaced with a modern hotel that opened on May 19, 1900. The property changed hands multiple times throughout the 20th century, serving various purposes including a hotel, residential apartments, offices, and several restaurants and cafes. In recent decades, the building housed banks.

The Ducal Stables are located near Pszczyna Castle, with the first historical record of stables dating back to 1629 in the Pszczyna land register. The current stable complex was built in the second half of the 19th century during the Hochberg era, designed by architect Olivier Pavel. The complex consists of a carriage house built in 1864, stables with a saddlery constructed in 1866-1867, a riding arena begun in 1869, and brick garages for nine ducal automobiles erected between 1904 and 1910.

The castle's Mirror Hall features two enormous mirrors (each 14m²) that were manufactured in Paris and transported to Pszczyna, along with five crystal chandeliers that can be lowered to floor level using pulley systems from the attic - a mechanism that still functions today from the Hochberg era.
