Impressive structure — it is about 644 meters long, has 19 spans and steel, riveted trusses. It was built between 1907–1908 as part of the Wolsztyn–Nowa Sól–Żagań railway line. It was designed and built by the Zielona Góra-based company Beuchelt & Co. Today it serves pedestrians and cyclists on the trail. Beautiful views of the Oder and floodplains😀

This is a former railway line, connecting Żagań with Wolsztyn, which was built in stages at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. Only in 2018 was the liquidation process of the railway completed, and in 2019 asphalt was laid in the place where the tracks ran, creating an excellent cycling trail "Czas na Kolej". Currently, platforms and a few renovated stations remain.

It looks bad. No information that it's the end and what's next. About 4 km past the town of Kolsko in the middle of nowhere. I had a quiet hope to reach Wolsztyn, and indeed I did, but via the national road no. 315. For a moment there is still a path through the forest to the town of Świętno, but no longer asphalt.. In the other direction towards Stypułowa, I reached the town, the settlement of Rudno and lost the marking. Later a storm and the trip was over. Through Nowa Sól, it sometimes leads along a cycle path through the city..

Overall, it's a shame for Wielkopolska not to have completed such a beautiful route

A restored railway station, with an on-site café serving delicious "Malinowa chmurka" cake. Right next to the asphalt bike path, this old station is surrounded by smooth, former German cobblestones. Of course, there are also areas where they imitate the famous Roubaix. The cobblestone section is approximately 200 meters long.

They are appreciated by all cyclists and other path users whenever they need to rest or when a sudden downpour begins.
