St. Mary's Cathedral is now the bishop's church in Gorzòw2 Wielkopolski (Landsberg an der Warthe). Construction probably began at the time the city was founded. In the 13th century, the building was rebuilt in the Gothic style and its side aisles were raised. Around 1500, a choir was added and various altars were built, for example for the stalls of bakers, shoemakers or cloth makers. more information: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dom_St._Marien_(Gorz%C3%B3w_Wielkopolski)

Here you can spend the night in the former machine towers or old railway carriages. Very idyllic and quiet. So ideal for stage runs. But because of the proximity to water, there are also lots of insects. First and foremost, there are mosquitoes. They make sitting outside in the evenings a nuisance.

In the 17th century the Oder still flowed through the Oderbruch. From Güstebiese the stream turned 90° to the west and flowed towards Wriezen. The main stream at that time then stretched along what is now the Alte Oder to Hohensaaten and further towards Schwedt. The river known as the Güstebieser Alte Oder begins here on the Oder dike near Güstebieser Loose and flows southwest to Wriezen, from where it is the Wriezener Alte Oder.
