The cathedral is located in the city, next to the main street leading from the Flavier Street to the Forum. It was built where Christians gathered during the persecution (until the 4th century). The building grew larger over time, taking on its present form in the 5th century. It was an elongated parallelogram structure with two rows of columns. The sanctuary was to the west, defined by a semicircular podium with a bench for the priests.
