A challenge with full luggage, as the Robert Pass is currently closed. Traffic was quite bearable. The pass hut was rather busy, but it was also Whitsun. I can't imagine what would have been like if the weather had been perfect.

Very varied hike, very nice, a little technical in places. A must-do.

Arriving at the Baladou pass in this gray weather, you'd think you were in Mordor :)

The Puy Baladou pass offers an exceptional view of the Puys mountain range on one side and the Sancy on the other.

Much smaller but quieter and less touristy than Lake Aydat, great picnic tables.
