now brand new asphalt throughout (on the roadway, the bike path in Box looks tired in comparison but still rideable)

(only this segment, the road onward to Nikkilä could certainly use some as well...) there is now even a painted shoulder that may look wide enough to ride but don’t be tempted, the lanes are far too narrow for safe overtaking so you’ll just invite a lot of close calls, much better to ride 0.5–1.0 m to the left of the line as usual
