The path is very easy to walk, as it is a former railway line and there is no steep incline.

A cautionary "contemporary witness" that should make us pause and reflect. Let's hope we won't need bunkers in Germany anymore!

The Lauffen Landturm on the hill above the Schozach River dates back to 1483. At that time, Count Eberhard the Bearded and his cousin, Count Eberhard the Younger, had it built as an important part of the old Württemberg Landgraben, which marked the border of the duchy to the north.

A great place on the Neckar with a view of the Count's Castle on the other bank of the river. "The Regiswindis Church is a Protestant parish church. Previous buildings date back to the 8th century and were dedicated to Saint Martin. From 1227 onwards, a building dedicated to Saint Regiswindis was built, which was rebuilt into its current form after a fire in 1564. Next to the church is an old cemetery chapel, into which the stone Regiswindis shrine from the 13th century was moved around 1880 and which has been known as the Regiswindis Chapel ever since." https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regiswindiskirche_(Lauffen_am_Neckar)
