Please note that the road leading to the pass after Besse is not paved. You have to drive 20 minutes on a track to reach it. Better to be warned!

One of the most epic climbs I’ve ever done — a hidden paradise, not well known, unlike the more popular climbs. In my personal opinion, it’s a much more epic ascent than Alpe d’Huez. Highly recommended

The climb up to the town is great but the place itself is a bit of an over-commercialised, purpose-built tourist trap. Enjoy the climb, grab a coffee then get out of there!
