A very nice rest area with everything you could wish for: several picnic tables, two of which are covered, drinking water, a restroom, a repair station, a playground; and if you'd like to eat somewhere, that's there too.

Former railway station of Saint Médard en Jalles on the Bordeaux-Lacanau cycle path, this infrastructure has a water point, picnic tables, toilets, deckchairs on the rails and a locomotive-themed playground. Not forgetting its Bistrot gare - be careful, its service is not continuous and closes in the afternoon after 3 p.m., even for cyclists in 40°C heat wanting a simple ice cream ...! Other picnic areas exist on the sites of the old stations along the cycle path but this is the only one with a café and one of the few with toilets.
