The mud of the ponds is the result of centuries of action of the sun and the very salty water of the Mar Menor. The result is a mud that, when applied to the skin, has great therapeutic value for all types of ailments: rheumatism, arthritis, gout, skin pathologies, rehabilitation after fractures, throat, etc. The ideal complement to the treatment is to take a bath in the mineralized water of the Mar Menor.

A standard church in Spain, nothing special especially as it is fenced in. However, it's basically in the middle of nowhere and on a small hill. Using it as a landmark to ride up to, it gives you a great view of the surrounding landscape. Riding around the church you have a 360 degree view of the bowl that is the vast plain encircled by the hills & mountains of Murcia including the highest peaks of the Sierra Espuna. It's on a good biking road with not much traffic between La Manchica and Las Palas.
