Pretty town - about 8 pubs but none of them in the Good Beer Guide. Which tells its own story.

Nice little cut through to avoid the main roads to and through Marlborough. It can get quite busy past the college entrance, so caution and slow speeds is advised.

Not much is known about this stone, apart from it's at the end of Manton Park racecourse. You have to venture on to the gallops, look out for any horses and Jockeys though.

Many of the ancient oak trees in Savernake Forest are believed to have served as boundary markers, predating the formation of England itself. There are around 30 in total and they are a beautiful addition to the forest.
