October 24, 2023, The Whirlygig

Between Stiffkey and Warham on the Norfolk Coastal Path lies The Whirlygig, a large metal pole stood in the centre of an overgrown circular area and surrounded by a metalled tack. The pole was used in the early 1950s for the practice firing of anti-aircraft guns.

Great starting or finish point. The best coffee and cakes on the coast path! Lovely garden to sit in. Also a place to buy other supplies.
