With the consent of the bishop she accepted the money that the faithful donated to her and in a few years in Valle Orta she built a house that hosted about twenty young women eager to undertake religious life, but the new episcopal administration of Marcello Morgante, after a few months of his installation, decreed the dissolution of the community and Maria then retired to private life. She died in 1974.
