This hike starts from the northern side in Scheuchenstein near Miesenbach, where you can find the Gauermann Museum. Before the hike, you can fortify yourself at the Kirchenwirt. Afterwards, you head up the mountain. On the Keinen Kanzel at 1092 meters above sea level, you will find the former inn zur Kleinen Kanzel.

Along the ridge, we reach the summit of Engelsberg (586m) after a short time, and a little further away, the sweet summit cross at the viewing bench "Steinfeldblick" above the marble quarry.
