The Noordergat Marina is a large and beautiful marina in Lauwersoog. Numerous yachts, houseboats, and sailing ships can be seen here. We had a wonderful time there. The harbor restrooms are brand new and very clean.

In addition to the new home of the Zeehondencentrum Pieterburen, there's much more to see and do. You can see seals being cared for in a hospital, experience a fish's journey through the Wadden Sea, and discover what it encounters. You'll learn all about the Wadden Sea. The WEC is truly an interactive experience for young and old. More information: https://www.zeehondencentrum.nl/de/

It's very interesting to look at the flotsam and jetsam, such as anchors, fishing nets, and ship's propellers, and imagine the story behind them. The flotsam and jetsam are located near the large restaurant on Kustweg.
