The sandy beach of Lake Hietajärvi is a scenic stop with a fireplace (Laavu). Also a wonderful spot for swimming. It’s just a three-kilometer walk from the closest parking area. This location is ideal for day trips or as a resting point when heading further into the national park. Camping is permitted here, making it a great place to stay overnight.
