October 7, 2025, Hotel Stekl at Hluboká Castle

Castle-like hotel complex. The rooms are okay, let's see what the wellness and food offer. It's best to book half board. The hotel price includes some free wellness features; the private sauna and massage cost extra, but it was worth it. The dinner was great, the breakfast even better. I must have put on a nice face at the bike parking space in the garage, which is actually 250 CZK, and got a discount.

Stromovka Park is the largest park in České Budějovice with its 68 hectares, just a 5-minute walk from the city center. The park is criss-crossed by a network of paved and unpaved paths that can be used by walkers, cyclists and in-line skaters.
