North of Offensee, at the outlet of the Offenseebach stream, lies a former hunting lodge of Emperor Franz Joseph I. The building ensemble with chapel is painted in the classic Schönbrunn yellow. From 1920, the hunting lodge housed a lung sanatorium. In the children's sun sanatorium built by Emil Kugler, children with bone tuberculosis were primarily treated using sun therapy. Today, the hunting lodge serves as apartment accommodation.
