Unfortunately, the bunkers are no longer accessible. There is a fence with barbed wire on both sides of the dune path. It feels a bit oppressive because of that.

The beach boulevard, with its atmospheric beach pavilions, attracts many visitors to Hoek van Holland. Along the Koningin Emmaboulevard you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Nieuwe Waterweg. The restaurants on the boulevard offer delicious fresh fish dishes. In addition, there are sufficient free parking spaces available, also for campers.

To the right of the path there are beach houses in the summer. Because of possible storms they are dismantled and put in a winter storage and rebuilt in the spring. There was one for sale for 150,000 euros and more than 6000 euros per year, probably for building, dismantling and rent. As far as we are concerned, no way to do that. After all, we are not real beach lovers, but if you are, would you buy a house here??

There are many restaurants here. In our opinion, Uluwatu stands head and shoulders above the rest because of the many delicious dishes they offer and the friendly service. The photo of the drinks is after the walk while waiting for a Korean dish,
