Cute little village located on the water. In the village there are several restaurants, a hostel / campsite, a shop for groceries and a nice resting place for walkers, including public toilets. Two long-distance trails run through the village.

The troll is 8 m high and the feet measures 3,5 m! The idea of a Troll in Årjäng comes originally from a comittee for the youth, called Start – 68. A wellknown singer in Sweden had composed a song named Årjängtroll, back in 1971, and the idea of a Troll with a Touristinformation in the belly, a tray in the hands to use as a scene för entertainment in the summertime, was made. The troll is 8 m high and the feet measures 3,5 m.
