Popular around Loch of the Lowes
Agree with the other comments it is very muddy with a lot of water on the track. Did it on my gravel bike and had to hike a bike for at least 1k. This was in October on a glorious day.

Quite a busy single-track road along the loch's southside. Plenty of scenic spots to take a break and a photo. Coffee and toilets at the loch visitor centre.

Free parking at Cally Car Park; however, the car park gets full on popular days like the weekend and bank holidays. A good gravel track, of various grades, climbs steadily north past Mill Dam (take a photo) and on up to Loch Ordie (take more photos). The track is used by cars up to near Mill Dam; beyond that it's more light-duty off-road vehicles. There are a few gates to open and close en route. The route gets more scenic towards Loch Ordie.
