A moment of relaxation in the gardens before or after visiting the monastery will certainly allow for deeper experiences and reflections. I recommend it.

Another place in the monastery that you must see is the papal apartments, where Pope John Paul II stayed during his visit in June 1999. Today, several rooms of the former refectory are set up as a museum. We can see the apartments in which the pope lived, his personal items, and photos from his visit to the Suwałki region.

In the immediate vicinity of the bike trail there is a footbridge with an educational board. At this point the trail is for a moment almost level with the lake surface.

A beautiful pier overlooking Lake Długie Wigierskie, where you could hunker down and forget about all the problems of this world. The entrance to it is through a small forest, where there is a good information board. One of many similar beautiful places - piers overlooking lakes - in this area.

A beautiful exit via a jetty to Lake Wigry. In addition, at the end of the jetty there is a great information board, or rather boards, about the (geological) genesis of Lake Wigry, including glacial activity. Very well done - not only will the lake delight you aesthetically, but you will also develop cognitively! :)
