THE MOST IMPORTANT MOMENTS IN THE HISTORY OF THE PARISH: In the summer of 1912 - the cornerstone was laid for the construction of the church in Mrzeżyno. According to historical sources, the construction was carried out in record time. July 1, 1913 - the General Superintendent of Pomerania of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church consecrated it for the inhabitants and numerous holidaymakers staying here. It is interesting to note that that the liturgical vessels were funded by spa guests staying in Mrzeżyno at that time, and the German Empress herself donated a Bible. September 6, 1945 - H.E. Administrator of the Diocese Fr. Edward Nowicki, by decree, incorporated Mrzeżyno into the parish of Trzebiatów. It is then that the second chapter in the turbulent history of this temple begins. Since then, it has become a place of worship for Roman Catholic residents and holidaymakers. June 29, 1947 - Fr. Tadeusz Długopolski, parish priest in Trzebiatów consecrated the church and celebrated the Holy Mass. indulgence in honor of St. App. Peter and Paul. In 1950, the Ministry of National Defense declared Mrzeżyno a military area and entry for civilians was forbidden. From then on, the church was closed and was devastated. May 26, 1956 - after cleaning and renovation, it was reopened. Since then, it has been serving residents and holidaymakers continuously to this day.
