Like Sleeping Beauty's castle, Castell Castle lies hidden among the trees. It is privately owned and therefore not open to the public. "Castell Castle is located in the municipality of Tägerwilen in the Swiss canton of Thurgau. It is one of the most important historicist castles in Switzerland. To the east are the ruins of Castell Castle, dating from the 12th century, which is one of the largest medieval fortifications in the Lake Constance region." Beautiful, somewhat hidden pond with lots of frogs :) There is a small wooden bridge to cross, as well as a bench for a rest!

On sunny spring days, the 508-meter-high Purren offers an impressive view over Lake Constance to the Alps. After the often gloomy winter weeks, the landscape now appears clearer and more lively. The sun's rays break through the last patches of fog over the water, while birds begin their morning concert. The first spring flowers sprout in the meadows, and the fresh air invites you to enjoy the awakening nature to the fullest.

Here, the two ponds are always dammed by beavers. This means that you often cannot walk the hiking trail between the ponds. But today I saw that they are finally building a footbridge.👏👏👏👏👍
