You should definitely stop by the Burgdorfer Schützenhaus if you like beer. Burgdorfer 1999 beer was first brewed in the brewery. Today, the facility is still in operation, producing specialty beers. You can also enjoy a good meal and recharge your batteries at the inn. More information: https://burgdorferschuetzenhaus.ch/.

From this point until the village of Bollodingen, the road turns into a gravel road. I would advise road cyclists to avoid this stretch of gravel and take the detour to the village of Hermiswil and ride on the busy road between Hermiswil and Bollodingen. The road on itself is of a smooth asphalted surface with no holes but during the morning and evening rush hour, this road has a lot of heavy traffic.

This route on a smooth asphalted surface with little traffic provides a great alternative to the main route from Alcherstorf to Wymingen and Hermiswil which has a lot of traffic from the Autobahn.
